HOW CAN I HELP MY CHILD AT HOME?
Reading every night with your child or having them read silently to themselves helps a great deal with fluency. For comprehension ask your child questions from the story. Example: When did the story take place? Who are the main characters? What was one thing you like about the story? Why do you think the story ended the way it did? Could you change the ending? What ending would you give the story?
Math: multiplication math facts every night will help your child
My child said they don't have any homework.
I give plenty of time in class to do homework and try not to load homework onto the students. I know as a busy parent there are many activities going on after school. Homework though each week goes as follows Monday reading story at home and Thursdays study for reading test, vocabulary test, and spelling test. The only exception is a shorten week.
